U.S. Rep. Brittany Pettersen, who represents Colorado’s 7th district in Congress, posted a series of messages on her social media accounts addressing economic and social issues affecting her constituents in early September 2025.

On September 3, Pettersen wrote about her participation with local business leaders: “Grateful to join The Colorado Business Roundtable to hear more about the challenges facing our business community here in CO – from Trump’s reckless tariffs, to immigration policies that are driving up costs & straining our workforce. I’ll always support policies that help our”.

The following day, she highlighted concerns raised by Broomfield FISH, a local food bank and resource center: “.@BroomfieldFish is the only food bank & resource center in Broomfield that’s working to keep families fed & provide resources to those in need. They are very worried about the impacts of Trump’s Big Ugly Bill and the tsunami that will hit families across Colorado. My heart”.

Brittany Pettersen has served as the U.S. Representative for Colorado’s 7th District since 2023, after succeeding Ed Perlmutter. She previously held positions in both chambers of the Colorado legislature between 2013 and 2023. Born in Colorado in 1981, Pettersen resides in Lakewood and holds a bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
