U.S. Rep. Brittany Pettersen, who represents Colorado’s 7th district in Congress, recently posted a series of tweets highlighting her office’s interns, the work of TDA Research in Golden, and concerns about community health care.
On December 20, 2025, Pettersen praised her interns: “Our interns bring energy, passion, and genuine commitment to public service. I’m grateful to see another great group working hard in our district office. Their experiences, the work they do, and the knowledge they gain in pursuit of their future goals give me so much hope. A huge https://t.co/i9BtfcHmXE”.
Later that day, she addressed challenges faced by TDA Research: “TDA Research in Golden is developing everything from clean-energy tech to wildfire respirators. But Trump unlawfully withheld money already approved by Congress, putting their work and jobs at risk.
They don’t just support our clean-energy future — their work protects https://t.co/r8yF4gyGXs“.
On December 21, 2025, Pettersen commented on rising health care costs and community hospital closures: “Community hospitals are closing, and health care costs are skyrocketing because of the Republicans’ health care crisis. At Stride Community Health Center, I saw how local providers and our community are stepping up to fill gaps and provide care – but it shouldn’t have to be this https://t.co/ge3KTuI1j9”.
Brittany Pettersen has served as U.S. Representative for Colorado’s 7th District since 2023 after succeeding Ed Perlmutter. Before her tenure in Congress, she was a member of both the Colorado House of Representatives (2013–2019) and the Colorado Senate (2019–2023). Born in Colorado in 1981 and currently residing in Lakewood at age 41, Pettersen holds a BA from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
