U.S. Rep. Brittany Pettersen, who represents Colorado’s 7th district in Congress, shared updates on legislative actions and personal moments from Capitol Hill in a series of posts on December 12, 2025.

Later the same day, she posted about her family visiting her at work: “Nothing better than having my family here with me in DC. Sam and Davis came to the House floor with me for votes! Members were so happy to see them on the House floor again. Despite the constant chaos & dysfunction, they keep me focused on the fight for the future our kids” (posted December 12, 2025).
In another post that evening, Pettersen highlighted her participation in a discussion about Social Security: “I was so happy to join @ColoradoSun to discuss the importance of protecting Social Security. Born in Colorado in 1981 and currently residing in Lakewood with her family, Pettersen continues to focus on labor issues and social welfare programs as part of her legislative agenda.
