U.S. Rep. Brittany Pettersen, who represents Colorado’s 7th district in Congress, has recently posted a series of tweets addressing her legislative achievements, national political developments, and tributes to historical figures.
On January 18, 2026, Pettersen highlighted the passage of bipartisan legislation aimed at combating addiction. She stated, “I’m so proud that my bipartisan SUPPORT Act was signed into law — it saves lives by expanding addiction treatment, recovery services, and overdose prevention. But there’s still so much work we have to do as Trump completely dismantles our health care system. It’s gut-wrenching”.
The following day, January 19, 2026, Pettersen marked Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a reflection on Dr. King’s legacy: “Today, we honor the incredible life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his strength & determination to build a better world.
