At 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 1, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, featuring former Bear Creek High School standout TK Landes, were defeated 1-0 by the Metro State Roadrunners in their NCAA Division II softball meeting.
The contest was held at CMU Softball Field and marked the third time the teams faced off this season. In their prior matchup on Saturday, Feb. 28, the Mavericks secured an 8-6 win over the Roadrunners.
Landes contributed three hits from three at-bats, crossing the plate three times and recording one RBI.
The Mavericks are set to play Metro State Roadrunners again at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, at CMU Softball Field.
