Former Ralston Valley High School guard Sophia Sabus helped lead her collegiate squad, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, to a 62-58 victory over the UT Tyler Patriots on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup was held at 4 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena, marking the Mavericks’ first game against the UT Tyler Patriots in the tournament.
The Mavericks are set to play again on Monday, March 16, at 6 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena.
