Denver County had one gas station selling diesel gas at the lowest price of $2.39 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 31, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $3.12 per gallon for diesel gas.
Denver County had 88 of 189 reported gas stations offering diesel gas.
Across Colorado, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas rose to $3.18, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
