In the week ending Mar. 7, one gas station in Jefferson County sold premium gas at the lowest reported price of $3.04 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Premium gas prices averaged $3.95 per gallon in Jefferson County.

Of the 198 reported gas stations in cities within Jefferson County, 148 offered premium gas.

For comparison, the average price of premium gas in Colorado was $4 per gallon for the week ending Mar. 7, up from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
