Neurorestorative Colorado was owned by Caremeridian, LLC and National Mentor Healthcare, LLC during the first quarter of 2026, data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) shows.

The facility operates as a for-profit nursing home.

In that quarter, Neurorestorative Colorado received an overall CMS rating of 3, which falls below Colorado’s average of 3.2 for nursing homes. CMS ratings are based on important criteria such as health inspection records, staffing, and the quality of services offered to residents.

The nursing home provided care for an average of 19 residents per day out of 36 available beds during the first quarter of 2026, according to the data. It is not affiliated with a hospital.

Neurorestorative Colorado incurred one fine totaling $13,406 and faced one penalty in the same period.

A total of 21 for-profit nursing homes were located in Jefferson County, Colorado.

U.S. Census Bureau estimates show the country’s older adult population is rising as the number of younger people decreases. From 2020 to 2024, Americans age 65 and older grew by 13%, while those under 18 dropped by 1.7%. Over the past hundred years, the older adult population in the U.S. has expanded significantly, reaching more than 61 million by 2024, up from 4.9 million in 1920.

A 2021 report found that nearly half of people in this age group, about 28 million, are expected to need long-term services and support, with more than one-third likely to require nursing home care at some point.

“Living a long life is something that many of us want and could get,” said Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance. “But when we live a long life, the chances of us needing long-term care increase exponentially. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
