U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen, who has been serving Colorado's 7th district since 2023, shared a series of statements on social media addressing national leadership, housing costs, and the aerospace industry. Pettersen replaced Ed Perlmutter in Congress and has previously served in both the Colorado House of Representatives and the Colorado Senate.

On November 20, 2024, Pettersen extended birthday wishes to President Joe Biden. She expressed her gratitude for his leadership and service to the country, particularly highlighting his role in economic recovery post-pandemic. "Happy Birthday, @POTUS! It's been an honor to serve under your leadership. Thank you for the decades of service to our country and leading us out of the pandemic with the quickest and strongest economic recovery in the world. The following day, November 21, 2024, Pettersen addressed concerns about housing costs raised by her constituents. She announced her new role as co-chair of a bipartisan caucus aimed at reducing these expenses. "I consistently hear from my constituents about the skyrocketing cost of housing. Today, I'm proud to join the new bipartisan YIMBY Caucus as a co-chair. I look forward to working with my colleagues to deliver solutions that lower housing costs for working families."

On November 22, 2024, Pettersen emphasized Colorado's strategic importance in aerospace and defense infrastructure while advocating for maintaining Space Command headquarters within the state. "Colorado's unmatched dominance in aerospace and defense infrastructure makes it the rightful home for Space Command. I will keep fighting to ensure these headquarters remain in our state to protect our operational readiness & the service members who live and train here."
