Cade Collins, a former Dakota Ridge Senior High School standout, helped his college team, the Wofford Terriers, secure an 8-5 victory in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup against the Xavier Musketeers on Sunday, March 22, at 1 p.m.
J. Page Hayden Field hosted the game, which marked the third meeting between the two teams this season. The series stands tied after these contests.
Collins went 1-for-4 at the plate, scoring two runs, driving in two runs, walking once and striking out once.
The Terriers are set to play the UNC Greensboro Spartans on Friday, March 27, at Russell C. King Field.
