The Wofford Terriers, featuring former Dakota Ridge Senior High School standout Cade Collins, were defeated 8-1 by the Xavier Musketeers in an NCAA Division I baseball game played at 3 p.m. Friday, March 20.
The matchup took place at J. Page Hayden Field, marking the teams’ first game against each other this season.
Collins tallied one hit across five at-bats and stranded four runners.
The Terriers are scheduled to face the Musketeers again at J. Page Hayden Field on Saturday, March 21.
