U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen, who has been serving Colorado’s 7th district since 2023, recently shared updates on social media regarding community events and legislative efforts. Her messages addressed various issues ranging from healthcare enrollment assistance to housing shortages and recognition of marginalized communities.

On November 19, 2024, Rep. Pettersen invited the public to a Health & Public Services Resource Fair in Wheat Ridge, scheduled for Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event aims to provide resources for Medicare or ACA marketplace open enrollment, job assistance, and tax and legal services. She encouraged individuals needing help in these areas to "RSVP and receive the details here".

The following day, November 20, she highlighted a critical issue affecting her state: the housing shortage exacerbated by an increasing population choosing to reside in Colorado. Rep. Pettersen expressed gratitude for collaborating with @RepCaraveoMD on introducing legislation designed to invest in innovative housing solutions that aim at constructing homes more rapidly and cost-effectively. She emphasized that rural areas are particularly affected by this crisis "As more people choose to call CO home...".

Later on November 20, Rep. Pettersen acknowledged #TransgenderDayOfRemembrance through a message honoring those lost due to violence against the transgender community. She stressed the importance of allowing transgender individuals to live without fear or discrimination alongside their fellow Americans "On #TransgenderDayOfRemembrance...".
