Brittany Pettersen, born in Colorado in 1981, has been serving in U.S. Congress since 2023, after succeeding Ed Perlmutter. She previously served in the Colorado House of Representatives and the Colorado Senate. Pettersen resides in Lakewood and holds a BA from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
