On December 6, 2024, Rep. Pettersen reminded her followers about the impending deadline for Medicare Open Enrollment. She emphasized the importance of securing necessary coverage by stating, "The deadline for Medicare Open Enrollment is tomorrow! Don't miss out on the coverage you need. Medicare Open Enrollment is open until Saturday, December 7th." She also provided a link for individuals to get started with their enrollment process.

On December 7, 2024, Rep. Pettersen paid tribute to service members lost during the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. She marked Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day by honoring their sacrifice with a tweet: "On Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we pay tribute to the courageous service members we tragically lost on December 7, 1941. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten."

In another tweet dated December 9, 2024, Rep. Pettersen addressed economic disparities faced by women due to "pink tariffs." She highlighted these additional costs imposed on women's products and introduced her bipartisan bill aimed at mitigating these higher taxes alongside Rep.
