U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen, who serves Colorado's 7th district in Congress, has been active on social media discussing various issues pertinent to her constituents. On February 11, 2025, she expressed support for King Soopers employees advocating for better wages and working conditions. In her tweet, Pettersen stated: "King Soopers employees are always there to help Coloradans get the food, medicine, and necessities they need. Proud to support them as they fight for living wages, better healthcare, and improved working conditions."

Later that day, Pettersen announced an upcoming event in Lake County via another tweet dated February 11, 2025. She invited residents to attend office hours in Leadville on February 18th to receive assistance with various federal services. Her message read: "Attention Lake County My team is holding office hours in Leadville on Tuesday, February 18th from 3pm-5pm! Stop by to get help with passports, the IRS, veterans benefits, Medicare and Social Security, immigration, and more."

On February 12, 2025, Pettersen critiqued former President Donald Trump's economic policies in a tweet where she noted rising costs of essential goods under his administration. She wrote: "Donald Trump promised he would bring down prices starting on 'Day One.' Instead, groceries, used cars, gas, and housing are all more expensive. Trump’s agenda isn’t solving problems –it’s making them worse."
