U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen, who has been serving Colorado's 7th district since 2023, recently shared updates on her activities and concerns via social media. Pettersen succeeded Ed Perlmutter in Congress and has a background in the Colorado House of Representatives and Senate.

On February 15, 2025, Pettersen expressed gratitude to those who attended her mobile office hours in Arvada. She emphasized her commitment to ensuring government accessibility for constituents. "Thanks to everyone who joined our mobile office hours in Arvada! My team and I are here to make sure our government works for you." She encouraged individuals needing assistance with federal agencies to contact her office directly.

The following day, February 16, 2025, Pettersen addressed concerns from Colorado residents regarding policies enacted by former President Trump. "Over the last few weeks, I’ve heard from so many Coloradans concerned about Trump’s reckless policies." She assured constituents that her team is available to provide support during what she described as "times of deep chaos and confusion."

Later on February 16, Pettersen reported on her meeting with the Fremont County Commissioners where she discussed efforts in Congress, particularly advocating for a VA clinic in Fremont County. "Team Pettersen was with the Fremont County Commissioners to give an update on my work in Congress, including our fight to bring a VA clinic to Fremont County." She reaffirmed her dedication to securing resources for rural communities.
