U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen, who serves Colorado's 7th district, recently shared her views on social media regarding several issues affecting her constituents and the nation. Her posts address support for federal workers in Colorado, critique of former President Donald Trump's policies, and concerns over budget cuts impacting healthcare.

Later that evening, Pettersen highlighted the potential negative impact of Trump's proposed budget cuts on vulnerable populations in Colorado. She shared a personal story about a constituent named Quinn who relies on Medicaid for critical medical treatments: "Ahead of tonight's Joint Address, I heard from Coloradans who will be hurt by Donald Trump's budget cuts that strip away access to food and health care for kids. We spoke to Quinn who has a rare form of cancer and depends on Medicaid for her life-saving medical treatments...".
