U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen, currently serving Colorado's 7th district in Congress, recently took to social media to discuss several pressing topics and opportunities. Known for her work in both the Colorado House of Representatives and the Colorado Senate before assuming her current role, Pettersen addressed constituents through a series of tweets.

On March 21, 2025, Rep. Pettersen announced that her office is accepting summer internship applications for positions in Washington D.C. and Colorado. She highlighted the opportunity for interns to "learn firsthand about the legislative process, public service," and more specifically serving the people of #CO07. The deadline for applications is April 15th.

On March 22, 2025, Pettersen commemorated the tragic event that occurred four years prior when a shooter entered a King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, taking ten lives. She reflected on this as "a heartbreaking reminder of the violence that has touched too many communities—especially here in Colorado" .

The following day, March 23, 2025, she remarked on the Affordable Care Act's (ACA) impact over its fifteen-year history. Pettersen credited it with expanding healthcare access and lowering costs for millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions. However, she expressed concern over current Republican efforts to dismantle the ACA to fund tax cuts for billionaires and large corporations .
