U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen, who serves Colorado's 7th district, has recently shared her views on various pressing issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect her concerns and actions regarding national security, international conflicts, and congressional policies affecting new parents.

On March 25, 2025, Rep. Pettersen expressed alarm over an incident involving the mishandling of classified information by the current administration. She stated: "A shocking breach of trust, even by the standards of this Administration. Sharing this classified information in an unsecured group chat risked the lives of American service members. And the only reason we know is because they messed up and included a journalist in the group."

Later that day, she acknowledged public demonstrations against Hamas in Palestine with a tweet saying: "Grateful to see the thousands of Palestinians who are demanding an end to Hamas and an end to the war." This statement was made on March 25, 2025.

The following day, March 26, 2025, Rep. Pettersen addressed challenges faced by new parents in Congress. She recounted her personal experience: "I had to fly across the country with my newborn just 4 weeks after giving birth to cast my vote—because Congress still refuses to make accommodations for new parents to do their jobs. That’s why we’re working to change that." She mentioned efforts underway to garner support for policy changes.
